DevOps Engineer

About the Client:
You will own the architecture of the platform that connects, manages and secures a rapidly growing device fleet. Today the infrastructure is run by one strong DevOps engineer; you will join as the senior technical voice who designs how the platform scales and brings applied IoT experience to the team.

Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve the platform architecture for a growing fleet of IoT devices and new product lines
- Define how devices are managed, supported and secured at scale
- Organise reliable data transfer from devices to the platform
- Set up access models for internal service teams
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS with GitOps delivery
- Own observability, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code standards
- Embed security practices and SecOps tooling into the platform
- Work alongside the existing DevOps engineer and share ownership of the infrastructure

Requirements:
- Proven experience scaling high-load systems (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with IoT platforms: device fleets, device-to-cloud data flows
- Kubernetes, ArgoCD
- AWS, Terraform
- Prometheus / Grafana monitoring stack
- CI/CD (GitLab is a plus; comparable tools are fine)
- Bash scripting
- SecOps tools and security-first thinking
- English sufficient for demos and communication with partners and customers

Nice to have:
- Exposure to radio or embedded devices
- Experience in defense tech or other hardware-driven products
