DevOps Engineer

Location: Poland
Project: Internal cloud-based actuarial platform

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team developing an internal cloud-based actuarial platform. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native solutions while supporting the transition from legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Ensure system reliability, security, monitoring, and performance.
• Support legacy environments and drive cloud modernization initiatives.
• Mentor team members on DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure experience.
• Strong AWS expertise (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes administration experience.
• Cloud migration and platform engineering experience.
• Background in financial, actuarial, or enterprise SaaS environments
