DevOps Engineer

Intela is building a DevOps/SRE team for a client — a FinTech company developing trade surveillance technology that detects market manipulation, financial crime, and fraud across traditional and crypto markets (20+ years in the market, monitoring over a trillion events daily).

You’ll own the reliability, stability, and operational support of production systems on a modern cloud-native stack.

What you’ll do:

• Own reliability, availability, and performance of production environments
• Operate production Kubernetes (EKS): cluster upgrades, Helm deployments
• Manage scaling/capacity with KEDA, Karpenter, HPA
• Manage AWS (EC2, Lambda, AWS Batch, Elasticache, RDS, etc.)
• Evolve IaC with Terraform and Helm
• Support GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, EFK
• Handle networking: TLS, Load Balancing, VPCs, NAT, VPN
• Lead incident response and deep-dive RCA
• Participate in on-call rotations

Requirements:

• 3+ years in DevOps / SRE
• Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid AWS knowledge (EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB)
• Terraform, Helm, GitLab CI (or similar)
• Monitoring, logging, alerting
• Bash and Python scripting
• Pub/sub systems (SQS, Kafka, or similar)
• Readiness for on-call rotations

Nice to have: Redis, Airflow, Databricks, Spark/EMR; GitOps; Postgres, Snowflake, or ClickHouse.
