As an Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional engineering team with end-to-end ownership of services and applications. You will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, system reliability, performance, and automation while working in a modern cloud-native environment. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and product teams to build resilient systems and continuously improve service quality.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, performance, maintainability, and operational excellence of systems and services.
- Drive observability improvements and support monitoring, change management, and configuration management processes.
- Define operational readiness requirements and ensure solutions meet reliability and quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify performance optimisation opportunities and proactively resolve issues before they impact customers.
- Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, automation capabilities, and operational efficiency.
- Support incident management and production issue resolution, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Take ownership of applications throughout their lifecycle, from design and deployment to operations and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, implement, and promote new tools, processes, and engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience working with highly available, distributed systems and services in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including scaled cloud systems, solution architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, preferably Datadog, and incident management tools such as PagerDuty.
- Strong automation expertise with hands-on programming experience.
- Good knowledge of server administration, networking, and security principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Comfortable working in an international environment, taking ownership, driving continuous improvement, and operating with a high level of autonomy.
