One of the biggest SportTech company infrastructure powers millions of live sports events worldwide – from raw video capture at remote venues to real-time stream delivery and ML-driven monetization. As a DevOps & Platform Engineer, you will be a core contributor to the reliability, scalability, and
operational excellence of our cloud platform.
You’ll work inside a self-service, pod-based engineering model where your job is to build the platforms, pipelines, and guardrails that let product teams ship independently – at high velocity and with full operational ownership. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact individual contributor role with a clear technical growth path.

Why you’ll working here:
• Real Impact: your decisions affect millions of fans, coaches, and venues globally.
• Unique challenges at scale: real-time video, K8S and CDN optimizations, from HW to SW.
• Ownership & Growth: high autonomy, influence platform strategy, clear path to leadership.
• AI-First Culture: cutting-edge AI tools, define how Pixellot leverages AI across engineering.

Join the Team!
If you’re passionate about Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering – and want to buildself-service systems in a high-scale, 100% hands-on environment – we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:

• 3–6 years in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
• Production-grade Kubernetes experience: EKS/GKE, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), service mesh, multi-tenant cluster operations, resource management
• Deep hands-on GitOps and CI/CD: ArgoCD or Flux, kustomize/Helm, rollout strategies, deployment safety, change ownership, audit trails
• AWS platform depth: EC2, EKS, S3, CloudFront, IAM/IRSA, VPC networking, RDS, cost optimization levers
• Platform engineering orientation – you think in platforms and self-service, not one-off scripts or manual runbooks
• AI-first approach – actively uses AI tools to accelerate development and operations; not just aware of them, but fluent
• Ownership mentality – own outcomes end-to-end, escalate only when truly blocked, and translate infrastructure complexity into business impact 2
• People leadership skills – You’ve hired, mentored, and grown engineers; conducted performance reviews; and built high-trust, high-performing teams
• Ownership & Communication – own outcomes end-to-end, escalate only when truly blocked, and translate infrastructure complexity into business impact

Bonus points if you have:
• GCP experience (GKE, GCS, Cloud Run) or hybrid multi-cloud operations
• Video streaming infrastructure: HLS, RTMP, CDN optimization, live video pipelines
• FinOps / cost optimization: cost attribution, right-sizing, storage lifecycle policies
• Development background (Python, Go, Node.js, or similar)

Job responsibilities:

• Build and maintain GitOps-based delivery pipelines (ArgoCD) so product pods deploy safely without DevOps intervention
• Design and evolve self-service tooling – golden paths, deployment templates, scaffolding – that reduce pod dependency on the platform team
• Implement deployment safety guardrails: config diffing, change ownership, rollout strategies, and audit trails
• Leverage AI to accelerate development and delivery – leverage industry leading tools and our company’s agentic concepts to speed up development and operational workflows
