Web Development Team Manager (WordPress/Shopify/Wagtail)

We are looking for an experienced Web Development Team Manager to lead our web
development department, oversee project delivery, and drive technical excellence across
multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities
● Lead and manage the Web Development team, ensuring effective workload
distribution and resource planning.
● Define and drive the team’s technical direction, best practices, and development
standards.
● Plan, coordinate, and oversee web development projects from discovery to
successful delivery.
● Assign tasks according to developers’ skills, experience, and project priorities.
● Monitor project timelines, quality standards, budgets, and overall delivery
performance.
● Improve development processes, workflows, and team efficiency.
● Participate in technical decision-making and solution architecture.
● Collaborate directly with clients, gathering requirements and providing project
updates in English.
● Prepare project status reports, documentation, and presentations for internal
stakeholders and clients.
● Mentor developers and support their professional growth.
Requirements
● 2+ years of experience managing web development teams or leading web
development projects.
● Strong technical background in web development (Front-end, Back-end, Full-stack,
or WordPress).
● Solid hands-on knowledge of:
○ PHP
○ WordPress
○ HTML
○ CSS○ JavaScript
● Experience with Shopify and CRM platforms is considered a strong advantage.
● Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
● Experience estimating project scope, timelines, resources, and development costs.
● Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
● Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● English level: B2 or higher.
