About the role
Build, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, APIs, and platform configuration. The developer works with consultants and architects to implement approved requirements using secure, scalable, and maintainable engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processes, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and automated tests.
- Build declarative solutions using Flow, validation rules, formulas, permissions, Lightning pages, and platform configuration.
- Translate user stories and technical designs into estimates, code, unit tests, deployment instructions, and support documentation.
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications using REST, SOAP, platform events, middleware, and secure authentication.
- Use source control, scratch orgs or sandboxes, continuous integration, automated testing, and controlled release processes.
- Troubleshoot defects, governor-limit issues, data problems, failed integrations, performance concerns, and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews and follow secure-development, bulkification, test-coverage, and maintainability standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, architects, QA engineers, and client technical teams.
Required qualifications
- Three or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, Flow, and Salesforce data-model skills.
- Experience with REST or SOAP APIs, asynchronous Apex, platform events, security, and governor limits.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Salesforce DX, sandboxes or scratch orgs, CI/CD, testing, and deployment tools.
- Ability to interpret user stories and technical designs, estimate work, test changes, and communicate risks.
- Understanding of profiles, permission sets, sharing, CRUD and field-level security, and secure coding practices.
- Strong debugging, code-review, documentation, and production-support skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, OmniStudio, or industry clouds.
- Knowledge of Jest, Apex testing frameworks, static analysis, packaging, and automated quality gates.
- Prior consulting or implementation-partner experience.
