Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Software Engineer to build and modernize production applications for a leading property portal serving the MENA real estate market. The role focuses on delivering reliable, maintainable user experiences with React.js, from feature development and testing to deployment, production support, and continuous codebase improvement.

Required for this role

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and hands-on experience building production applications with React-based frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Practical experience writing automated tests and using code quality tools.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of AWS or another major cloud platform and its services.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, distributed teams.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native.

Your responsibilities

• Build new features from concept to production, with a focus on quality, usability, and maintainability.
• Refactor and modernize existing codebases to improve application performance and developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to exchange ideas and deliver business value.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that follows engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to maintain application reliability and performance.
• Own features and technical initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment and post-release support.
