We are looking for a Middle Frontend Engineer (React) to join one of our projects on a part-time, project-based basis.
The project involves developing and improving a web application with a strong focus on document and file management, including file visualization, previews, and user interactions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial frontend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with state management and modern React architecture.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
- Experience building complex, interactive user interfaces.
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently, estimate tasks, and propose technical solutions.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) or document-heavy applications.
- Experience implementing file viewers and previews (PDF, images, Office documents, etc.).
- Familiarity with libraries such as PDF.js, React PDF, or similar solutions.
- Experience with file uploading, downloading, versioning, and document-related workflows.
- Experience building interactive document viewers with annotations, highlighting, or other advanced features.
- Understanding of handling large files and optimizing document rendering performance.
Responsibilities
