> full description
You will build the interfaces that agency operators use every single day — dashboards, Kanban boards, Gantt charts, time tracking widgets, workflow builders, analytics views, and client portals. Kontrora's frontend is Next.js 15 with the App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, and shadcn/ui. The product is complex and data-dense, which means you need to care deeply about performance, accessibility, and the small details that make a tool feel fast and satisfying. You will work closely with the product designer and backend engineers, and you will have real ownership over the component library.
Responsibilities
- Implement UI components and pages with pixel-perfect accuracy from Figma designs
- Build and maintain the shared component library using shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS 4
- Optimize frontend performance: bundle size, Core Web Vitals, rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, client)
- Write accessible, semantic HTML — ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, screen reader support
- Implement complex interactive features: drag-and-drop (dnd-kit), data visualization (Recharts, D3), workflow canvas (xyflow/react)
- Manage client-side state with Jotai and server state with SWR
- Write unit and integration tests for components and user flows
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and data shapes
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Expert React and TypeScript skills — hooks, context, memoization, and rendering deeply
- Strong CSS skills including Tailwind, animations, and responsive design
- Experience with Next.js App Router and understanding of server vs. client components
- Web performance knowledge and accessibility experience building WCAG-compliant interfaces
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tailwind CSS 4 and design token systems
- Framer Motion or animation library experience
- Experience building data-heavy dashboards or analytics UIs
- Familiarity with xyflow/react or node-based canvas libraries
