Frontend Engineer
Solead Software is looking for an experienced React front-end developer to join our growing team to design and develop the next generation platform for information management industry. Our current task is to redesign and modernize one of the Web applications from user interaction standpoint, improving user workflows and replacing outdated ASP.NET MVC frontend with modern ReactJS user interface.
This Web application is one of the key elements of the existing large software platform to automate various business processes in information management domain. The platform is data centric with replicated and geographically distributed MS SQL environment. Various backend services and business operations are implemented in .NET technologies and exposed via APIs. Platform architecture includes a number of (micro-)services managed by Consul and used by other services and end-user applications.
Currently, Solead team consists of seven professionals tightly collaborating with remote teams in Europe and USA. Agile development process assumes regular (from daily to weekly, depending on the project) online teleconferences via Teams, daily code commits to Git, and weekly-to-monthly production releases. All development process is based on GitLab environment with AI assistants and very high attention to code quality and documentation.

This is a full-time and long-term position in Lviv, Ukraine. We combine work in our modern and spacious office with work at home.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implementation and maintenance of a new Web frontend in ReactJS framework
- Implementation of the provided UI/UX design in a modern, responsive and high-performance way
- Integration of the new frontend with already existing backend via multiple Web API endpoints
- Following well-established development practices, such as code review and documenting, code testing and merging, etc.
- Participation in Agile process, team meetings, technical brainstorming, peer reviews, etc.
- Regular communication to other team members, work progress/status reporting
- Proactive suggestions how to improve the code, UI/UX, business workflows, data structures, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, applied math, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in Web frontend development, using React ecosystem
- Solid expertise in React, Redux, React Query, Tailwind CSS, Playwright, Material-UI and other related tools and libraries
- Strong HTML/CSS/JS/TS programming skills
- Working knowledge of .NET programming platform (C#)
- Expertise in cloud architecture and software integration patterns and techniques
- Git/GitHub/GitLab working experience
- Agile/Scrum knowledge and practice
- High attention to details, accuracy, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Smartness, agility and ability for quick ramp-up
- Upper-intermediate English communication skills (B2+)
