Full Stack Engineer

Some products just move features around. This one helps people get medical care. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with great skills of React, TypeScript, Node.js/NestJS and PostgreSQL/Supabase and wants their code to matter to patients and clinicians. You’ll own features end to end, from data model to UI. You’ll work closely with designers, the clinical team and the AI team to turn medical workflows into a product people find easy to use.

The Project:

A US-based telehealth platform that connects patients and clinicians in a single digital experience. It covers online care, payments, prescription delivery and pharmacy network integrations. The team is product-focused and dedicated to ship fast. The client strives to create a product that is accessible to everyone, in any language. The platform is growing actively, so you’ll have room to shape both the product and its engineering practices.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of commercial experience building production web applications;
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Redux, React Router; experience with Material UI and Vite;
• Backend: Node.js, NestJS, REST API design, authentication with JWT and Guards;
• Databases: PostgreSQL with strong data modeling skills; hands-on experience with Supabase (Auth, Storage, Row Level Security);
• Authentication: OAuth 2.0 / PKCE, social logins (Google, Apple, Facebook);
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and deployment on platforms like Netlify and Railway;
• Experience in a dynamic, product-focused environment with fast release cycles;
• Mentoring and code review experience, and a strong testing culture;
• Ability to work with around 4 hours of overlap with US Central Time;
• English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher, spoken and written (documentation, commits and async communication with an English-speaking team) & Native Ukrainian.

Nice to have:

• Experience in healthcare, telehealth or other regulated industries;
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements, handling sensitive medical data, data encryption;
• Integrations with Stripe, Customer.io, Freshpaint, EasyPost;
• Experience integrating with pharmacy networks or e-prescription systems;
• Monitoring and observability: Sentry, alerting;
• Data visualization (Recharts);
• Accessibility (a11y) and internationalization (i18n) experience.

What you will do:

• Build features end to end, frontend and backend, for patient- and clinician-facing products;
• Design and evolve REST APIs on NestJS and data structures in PostgreSQL/Supabase;
• Work with designers, the clinical team and the AI team to turn medical workflows into an intuitive product;
• Maintain and expand integrations with payment, delivery, pharmacy and marketing services;
• Improve platform reliability, performance and monitoring;
• Keep work with medical data secure and HIPAA-compliant;
• Set up and maintain scheduled jobs and CI/CD pipelines;
• Mentor engineers, run code reviews, and raise code quality and test coverage.
