Full Stack Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python/Angular) who can talk to the business, turn fuzzy requirements into a clear solution, build it end to end, and make sure it's properly tested before it goes live
You'll join a long-term project for a large enterprise client in the DACH region, working closely with project leads, business stakeholders, architecture, security and operations
About the project
The client is a large enterprise organization in the DACH region. The team builds and evolves internal business web applications that support core processes and integrate with the wider corporate landscape, including enterprise systems such as SAP
The environment is modern and cloud-native: Python and Angular applications running on Kubernetes, delivered through GitLab CI and GitOps (ArgoCD), with PostgreSQL as the main database
Because the applications handle business-critical data, security, access management and quality are a real focus, not an afterthought
The team works in an agile setup and values engineers who take ownership: people who understand the business problem, shape the solution together with stakeholders, and see it through to a stable production release
What you'll do
- Clarify requirements with stakeholders: close gaps, resolve contradictions, define scope and acceptance criteria
- Write concise functional and technical solution concepts
- Design APIs, data models, security and operational aspects of new features
- Develop, test and maintain full-stack web applications in Python and Angular
- Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, performance tuning
- Run backlog refinement and break work into clear, testable stories
- Define test strategy and quality gates (unit, integration, API, E2E, regression)
- Investigate defects, drive root-cause analysis and prevent regressions
- Take part in code reviews, architecture discussions and deployment decisions
- Own delivery proactively: spot blockers early and propose solutions
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong Python backend experience (e.g. FastAPI, Django or Flask)
- Angular + TypeScript experience
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL (PL/SQL is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and DevOps practices, Git/GitLab CI
- Experience with testing and test automation
- Experience gathering requirements and designing solutions together with business stakeholders
- Agile mindset, familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Nice to have
- ArgoCD / GitOps, immutable infrastructure
- MSSQL Server
- Public cloud experience (ideally T-Cloud)
- Knowledge of IAM and security concepts (least privilege, role design, segregation of duties)
- Secure software development practices
- Basic SAP knowledge
