Full Stack Engineer
ABOUT US
We are a US e-commerce company. We run the whole business on one internal web panel that we build ourselves: orders, customer support, call center, hiring, analytics, and ad production with AI video and image models. It is live and the team uses it every day.
THE ROLE
You will be the developer who owns this panel. The founder gives you the idea and a clear "done when". You plan it, build it with AI coding agents (Cursor), review what the agent wrote, test it, and ship it.
This is not a prompt-only job. The agent writes a lot of the code, but you are the one who reads the diff, finds the bug, and says no to a bad change.
STACK
- Next.js and TypeScript
- Supabase (PostgreSQL, SQL migrations)
- Vercel, Cloudflare R2
- A background job queue on a Linux VPS
- External AI APIs (video, image, LLM)
- GitHub with a protected main branch and pull requests
YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF
- You have 3+ years of real web development with React or Next.js.
- You can write SQL and TypeScript by hand, without an AI tool.
- You use AI coding agents every day and you know where they fail.
- You can explain a technical problem in three simple sentences.
- You write clear English.
- You can work full-time for one company.
NOT A FIT
- Agencies and teams. We hire one person.
- People who can only prompt and cannot read the code.
- People with several other clients at the same time.
HIRING PROCESS
- A 14-minute online test (code reading, multiple choice). We send you the link in chat right after you apply.
- A 20-minute written test (a small function, one SQL query, three short answers).
- A short live call with screen share.
We do not read CVs first. The test decides who moves on, and we reply to everyone who passes step 1.
