We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Developer / Solution Architect to join our team and help design and deliver modern digital commerce solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong backend background while remaining comfortable working across the full stack.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable digital commerce solutions and web services.
- Lead the architecture and technical implementation of complex web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and operations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor other developers.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js.
- Solid experience with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and the complete web development lifecycle.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Comfortable working across both backend and frontend when required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Finnish language skills are considered a strong advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with commercetools.
- Experience with Sanity CMS.
- Experience with Stripe, Contentful, Akeneo, Bluestone PIM, Vercel, or Omnium.
- Previous experience in digital commerce (eCommerce) projects.
- Experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Lead Developer.
- Background in consulting or client-facing technical roles.
- Experience designing composable commerce architectures.
