Full Stack Engineer

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join a US-based FinTech product on a part-time basis.

You’ll be working on a trading platform designed for active market participants. The product enables users to connect brokerage accounts, automate trading workflows, manage positions, and monitor performance through a unified dashboard. The platform combines real-time data processing, advanced order management, custom trading logic, analytics, and P&L tracking.

What you’ll do

• Develop and enhance backend services supporting trading automation and order execution;
• Build and maintain APIs and third-party integrations;
• Implement custom triggers and event-driven functionality;
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical improvements;
• Ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and secure.

Tech Stack

• Backend: Node.js, Python / Rust, PostgreSQL, JWT / OAuth, Docker, Stripe
• Frontend:React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, Zustand, WebSockets
• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS — Lambda, S3, Cognito, RDS, ECS, AWS SQS, API Gateway, EventBridge, AWS SAM
• GraphQL: GraphQL, Hasura;
• Nice to have: Terraform, GitHub Workflows, ngrok, Databento, Alpaca, IBKR, Claude/Codex, TipTap, Framer Motion, Recharts.

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with a solid backend background;
• Interest in or hands-on experience with financial markets and trading;
• Understanding of options trading and US market dynamics would be a strong advantage;
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced product environment;
• Availability to overlap with US market hours, ideally starting from 3:00–4:00 PM Kyiv time.
