Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (CAP&SAP UI5/Fiori) to join our client’s team.

Our client is a global professional services company, providing audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management, and tax services to public and private clients worldwide.

Position requires working from the office once per week.

Locations: Bucharest/Timisoara/Cluj, Sofia/Varna, Budapest, Kraków/Warsaw only

Role Overview

The Senior CAP Developer (Full Stack) is a key member of an Agile Scrum Team (10+

members) operating within an Agile Release Train (ART). The role is responsible for

designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications using SAP BTP and the Cloud

Application Programming Model (CAP). The developer contributes across backend and

frontend layers, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions deployed on SAP Cloud Foundry.

The role works closely with Product Owners, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers using

JIRA for backlog management and GitHub for version control and CI/CD processes.

Key Responsibilities

— Design, develop, and maintain backend services using SAP CAP (Node.js/Java) and CDS

modeling

— Implement and manage data persistence using SAP HANA (HDB) and related services

— Build and integrate RESTful APIs and OData services

— Develop and support frontend integration (e.g., SAP UI5/Fiori) where required

— Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices

— Collaborate with QA engineers to support automated testing and ensure testability

— Work with DevOps engineers to integrate code into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub

— Translate user stories into technical solutions aligned with acceptance criteria

— Ensure compliance with SAP BTP, CAP, and Cloud Foundry standards and architecture

guidelines

Key Skills and Competencies

— Strong hands-on experience in full stack development (backend + frontend basics)

— Proficiency in SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

— Experience with SAP BTP and Cloud Foundry environments

— Strong knowledge of CDS modeling and HANA database concepts (HDB)

— Experience in API development (REST, OData)

— Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori integration

— Experience with GitHub and CI/CD processes

— Understanding of Agile development practices and Scrum framework

— Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

— English — Upper Intermediate+

Experience and Qualifications

— Typically 6+ years of experience in full stack application development

— Proven experience with SAP BTP, CAP, and cloud-native development

— Experience in Agile Scrum teams within ART environments is beneficial
