Full Stack Engineer
We are looking for a Junior Strong/Middle Fullstack Developer to join a USA-based project developing an AI platform for architecture and engineering firms to manage and leverage complex project data more efficiently. You’ll collaborate with an experienced team to enhance internal tools, including admin panels, payment workflows, and database performance, contributing to a reliable and scalable product.
Requirements:
— 2+ years of commercial experience in web development with Node.js and TypeScript, primarily focused on backend development.
— Experience with React and/or Next.js for building web interfaces, internal tools, admin panels, or configuration pages.
— Understanding of REST APIs and authentication mechanisms.
— Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
— Experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma.
— Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and writing maintainable code in an existing codebase.
— Basic understanding of background jobs, asynchronous processing, and task queues.
— Interest in working with transactional systems, billing workflows, usage-based pricing, and third-party integrations.
— Proficiency with Git and familiarity with modern JavaScript/TypeScript development workflows.
— Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
— Ability to take ownership of features, from solution design to implementation, with guidance and code reviews from experienced team members.
— Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency, enabling effective communication within an international team.
Nice to have:
— Experience integrating third-party APIs.
— Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, token management, or API synchronization.
— Familiarity with Redis, or BullMQ.
— Experience with Next.js App Router, monorepos, or Turborepo.
— Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations or AI-powered products.
— Exposure to OpenTelemetry, structured logging, or observability tooling.
Responsibilities:
— Help build and maintain third-party integrations, including API handlers, authentication flows, database models, background tasks, and configuration interfaces.
— Contribute to data synchronization workflows, including pagination, rate limiting, error handling, and incremental updates.
— Work with PostgreSQL and Prisma to support integration data, credentials, and synchronization state.
— Build and improve admin panels and user-facing integration pages using React and Next.js.
— Collaborate with the team on technical decisions and implementation approaches for new integrations.
— Help improve application reliability through proper error handling, logging, and debugging.
— Contribute to shared packages and components within the team’s monorepo.
