Logivations develops advanced software for AI, optimization, digital twins and robotics. We are looking for an exceptional early-career developer with strong Java fundamentals, broad technical curiosity and the ambition to turn difficult ideas into working software. Java is the primary backend language, but this is a true full-stack role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Build end-to-end features: from Java backend, APIs and databases to a modern UI.
• Use AI to understand existing code: map dependencies, explain unfamiliar modules, detect weak spots and find bugs in large codebases.
• Refactor and improve existing software: make code faster, more reliable, easier to maintain and less error-prone — and validate that AI-generated changes are actually correct.
• Use AI for real engineering: generate and redesign modules, tests, prototypes, migrations and refactorings — not just snippets.
• Solve hard algorithmic problems: work with algorithms, data structures, optimization, complex business logic and performance-critical code.
• Turn vision into software: take an ambitious idea, choose the right technologies and rapidly build a working prototype that can become a production solution.
WHAT MATTERS TO US
• Strong Java fundamentals and a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, debugging and software design.
• Exceptional logical thinking — you enjoy problems that require several steps of reasoning and you do not stop at the obvious answer.
• Practical AI coding experience with code generation, code analysis, debugging, refactoring and test generation. You must be able to challenge AI output, not blindly accept it.
• Broad technical interest across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, languages and frameworks. You are willing to use the best tool for the problem.
• Good English for technical discussions, documentation and collaboration.
• Lviv office: this is an on-site role. Remote-only applications are not considered.
