We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing product in the FinTech domain.
This role is a strong fit for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working across the full stack, taking ownership of features end-to-end, and solving complex product and engineering challenges with a high level of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack product features using Python and React.js.
- Take ownership of features throughout the full development lifecycle, from technical discovery and solution design to implementation and production support.
- Work closely with engineering and product stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product.
- Identify technical risks, evaluate trade-offs, and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Collaborate with other engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Support and guide team members when needed, even without a formal leadership title.
- Use modern AI-powered development tools and automation to improve engineering efficiency while critically validating generated outputs.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions clearly in a remote working environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and React.js.
- Solid full-stack engineering background and the ability to work confidently across backend and frontend systems.
- Experience with Node.js or readiness to work with it when required.
- Experience designing and delivering production-ready features end-to-end.
- Good understanding of software architecture, API design, databases, testing, and modern engineering practices.
- Ability to explain technical decisions in terms of the problem solved, trade-offs considered, and value delivered.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, outcome-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently in an environment with changing requirements and limited micromanagement.
- Proactive communication and confidence collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in FinTech or another complex product domain.
- Previous experience in a startup or rapidly scaling product environment.
- Experience with cloud-based and distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
- Practical experience with LLMs, coding assistants, AI agents, or engineering workflow automation.
