Full Stack Engineer
About the project
A large-scale online learning platform (LMS) for real estate agents, serving 100,000+ users. It delivers licensing and continuing education courses and covers the full journey — from enrollment and course progress to payments, identity verification, and automated communications.
Project stage: Technical modernization — the product is live and revenue-generating. We’re speeding up the release cycle, gradually modernizing the architecture, and setting new development standards with heavy use of AI tooling.
Responsibilities:
— Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js + Express;
— Build frontend features with React 18 + TypeScript and Next.js;
— Work with business logic, data models, payment and third-party integrations;
— Explore and document the existing codebase; contribute to incremental refactoring;
— Write and maintain tests; optimize MongoDB queries and ensure data integrity;
— Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) daily.
Required skills:
— 1+ years of commercial experience as a Full-stack or Software Developer;
— Strong experience with Node.js and Express;
— Proficiency in React and TypeScript;
— Experience with MongoDB (or similar);
— Experience integrating third-party APIs; confident with Git and testing (unit/integration/e2e);
— Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor or similar);
— English: Upper-intermediate or higher.
Will be a plus:
— Next.js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui;
— EdTech / LMS platforms, or e-commerce and subscription billing;
— Experience modernizing monolithic applications;
— Docker and CI/CD.
