Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team for a long-term project.

Project

A SaaS-based, data-driven eCommerce platform built on AI-powered, fully cloud-native technology for the North American market.

Responsibilities

• Build and own services across the pipeline — ingestion API, validation, stream processing, adapters, serving API.
• Write dbt models that turn raw events into trustworthy sessions, KPIs, and attribution (session stitching, credit assignment, before/after reporting on merchandising changes).
• Build the browser-side tag and the validation tooling that tells an implementation engineer exactly which events are missing or malformed.
• Build the UI layer — dashboards and embedded analytics — on top of the data you modelled.
• Make it operable: idempotent ingest and replay, deduplication, provenance, tracing, data-quality checks, tenant isolation, GDPR handling.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years building production backend services and the web UIs on top of them.
• Strong in at least one backend language (TypeScript/Node, Python, Java/Kotlin, or Go) and comfortable in modern JavaScript/TypeScript on the front end (React or similar).
• Real experience with event-driven systems: message queues or streams (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis), schema evolution, at-least-once delivery, idempotency.
• Solid SQL and data modelling — you can design a warehouse schema and reason about why an aggregate is wrong.
• Cloud-native delivery: containers, CI/CD, infrastru

• You care about data correctness and can explain a metric's definition to a non-engineer.

   

Nice to Have

• Snowflake and dbt.
• Azure (also GCP/AWS — we're multi-cloud by design).
• Looker or another semantic/BI layer, embedded analytics.
• Clickstream or product analytics work: beacons/tags, sessionization, attribution models.
• E-commerce, search, recommendations, or merchandising domain experience; Shopify integrations.
• Privacy and compliance work (GDPR, SOC 2).
