Full Stack Engineer
Teambase is an insurtech software vendor building cloud-based solutions for insurance carriers, brokers, and MGAs: underwriting workflows, portals, policy and quotation management, integrations, reporting, and document processing. Our main product is a mature ASP.NET MVC 5 application on .NET Framework 4.8; new development is built on .NET 10 and Vue 3 on Azure. Developers work full-stack.
We are fully remote, with a team distributed across Europe, the UAE, and other countries. Most collaboration happens in English, in writing, and across time zones.
We’re hiring at Middle or Senior level; the final level is decided after the interview.
Tech stack
C#, .NET Framework 4.8 / ASP.NET MVC 5 and .NET 10, SQL Server / Azure SQL, EF6 / EF Core, Vue 3 + TypeScript, legacy jQuery / Knockout.js / Kendo UI, Azure, Azure DevOps.
What you will do
- Deliver features end-to-end: API, UI, database, and tests, in both the legacy MVC 5 product and new .NET 10 / Vue 3 applications
- Turn business requirements into practical solutions with the Product Owner and Team Leader
- Build background jobs, Azure Functions, and queue-driven processing
- Write unit and integration tests, support QA, fix defects, and review pull requests
- At Senior level: own complex modules from design to production, lead incremental modernization (.NET Framework → .NET 10, OpenTelemetry, automated tests), mentor developers, and help shape how the team works with AI
What you need
- 3+ years of commercial C# / .NET experience (5+ for Senior), including ASP.NET MVC / Web API and ASP.NET Core
- Solid SQL Server: stored procedures, indexes, query plans; EF6 and EF Core
- Practical Vue 3 and TypeScript (strong React or Angular is fine if you’re willing to work in Vue)
- Ability to read and modify legacy jQuery, Knockout.js, and Kendo UI code
- Practical Azure (App Service, Azure SQL, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights), Azure DevOps, and Git
- Unit and integration testing (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest) and secure coding practices
- For Senior: strong T-SQL including locking and safe schema changes, Azure Service Bus, Entra ID, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, OWASP Top 10, and production debugging across app, database, and infrastructure
- Very good spoken and written English (B2 or higher)
Nice to have
- Regular use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) with a clear way of reviewing output; spec-driven development (GitHub Spec-Kit, OpenSpec)
- Building AI agents or LLM integrations from .NET: tool calling, structured output, MCP servers, RAG
- Insurance, finance, or broker-systems domain experience
- Migration from .NET Framework to modern .NET; Docker, GitHub Actions, Playwright
How we work with AI
Claude Code is our standard development tool, and every developer gets a seat. Some projects use spec-driven development with GitHub Spec-Kit. You own every line you submit, whoever or whatever wrote it.
What we offer
- Fully remote work in an international team
- Feature and module ownership on a live insurtech platform and new .NET 10 / Vue 3 projects
- Modernization work with real influence on technical design
- Involvement in AI initiatives: agents, document processing, and knowledge search
- A clear path from Middle to Senior responsibilities
