Full Stack Engineer

MANDATORY — hands-on experience with Odds88 or a comparable sports data / betting platform providers (Sportradar/Genius Sports/BetConstruct/Hub88/Softswiss ). This is the key selection criterion for this role.

The engineer must be able to build the full sports betting system: Odds88 integration, betting logic, and the bonus system around it.

Hard skills requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Odds88 or a comparable provider — Sportradar, Genius Sports, BetConstruct, Hub88, Softswiss (MANDATORY, key requirement)
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience
• At least 4–5 years production experience with Node.js (Nest.js / Express.js / Koa.js), building and operating backend services
• At least 4 years with React — ability to deliver high-quality UI: responsive / mobile-first layouts, attention to detail, basic frontend performance hygiene
• TypeScript in production: typing API contracts, safe refactors, avoiding any
• Strong PostgreSQL + SQL: joins, aggregates, pagination patterns, indexing implications, transactions and isolation, row-level locks (SELECT … FOR UPDATE), handling double-submit/double-spend scenarios
• Third-party API integration experience — external feeds, webhooks, retries, idempotency, reconciliation
• Modern backend architecture: microservices, asynchronous communication, distributed systems basics (timeouts, retries, idempotency, backpressure)
• Strong software design knowledge: OOD, FP fundamentals, design patterns, maintainable modular code
• Proficient Git (PRs, reviews, branching, conflict resolution), Docker and CI/CD
• Agile / SCRUM development practices

Would be great:

• Direct Odds88 integration experience (strongest possible match)
• Experience building bonus systems / promotions engines in iGaming
• WebSockets at scale (live odds, real-time updates)
• Messaging / eventing fundamentals (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS+SNS, NATS)
• Tech/Team Lead experience
• Observability: logs/metrics/tracing, SLO thinking

Responsibilities:

• Build sports betting functionality for the client's platform
• Integrate with Odds88 and related sports data feeds
• Build the system supporting bonuses, betting and everything related to sports
• Deliver full-cycle features: design → implementation → testing → rollout → monitoring
• Own data correctness and performance in Postgres (transactions/locking, indexes, migrations, query optimization)
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation and production support
