Full Stack Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack (Laravel/React/Typescript) Engineer to join our team in developing a product for our client based in the USA/Canada. Operating in the healthcare domain, our client is a globally recognized SaaS company dedicated to enhancing hearing care worldwide. Their software is utilized by small hearing care practices and major retailers across 13 countries.
As a member of the team, you will work closely with our US- and Canada-based teams, contributing to the migration and redevelopment of features from the legacy system to a modern platform using React and Laravel. You will also leverage the latest AI-driven development methodologies and tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
Requirements:
- 5+ years PHP (Laravel) experience
- 3+ years JavaScript (React) and Typescript experience
- Knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS
- Experience with jQuery, MySQL
- Understanding of software design and underlying principles
- English — Upper-Intermediate level+
- Excellent communication skills
- Open for challenges, problem-solver and result-oriented
- Experience is building AI services and/or tooling on a 3d place
Nice to have:
- AngularJS, Next.js, Doctrine 2 experience
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to create high-quality production code, actively participating in all stages of the development cycle.
- Participate in the migration of business-critical features from a legacy platform to a modern architecture using React and Laravel.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality frontend and backend applications.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools and methodologies to improve development speed, code quality, and overall productivity.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while maintaining system stability and performance.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high product quality and timely resolution of defects.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for new features and system changes.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos
