Full Stack Engineer

Employment: Remote, full-time
Engagement length: Long-term, 12 months
Start: Mid-October
Time zone: CET (candidate location is flexible — EU, Balkans, Ukraine, CIS, Asia, Africa, Middle East)

Required:

Backend:

• Node.js — 5+ years of commercial experience, NestJS, TypeScript in production
• Solid understanding of the event loop, streams, and async patterns in Node
• ORM/query builders: TypeORM, MikroORM, or Knex
• BullMQ or similar task queue (retries, idempotency)
• Python — 3+ years of commercial experience
• Django/DRF: REST API design, ORM, migrations, serializers, permissions
• FastAPI or another async framework in production
• asyncio: async/await, concurrent task orchestration
• Celery or similar for background task processing
• MySQL/PostgreSQL: database design, query optimization, migrations
• Message queues: RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar
• Redis or similar for caching
• WebSockets, real-time event delivery
• Understanding of microservices architecture

Frontend:

• React — 1.5+ years of commercial experience
• TypeScript in production
• State management: Redux/RTK/MobX
• Data fetching: RTK-Query
• Custom React Hooks
• SASS/Bootstrap/Tailwind
• Understanding of component composition and reusability

General:

• Git (branching strategies, merge conflict resolution, code review)
• Testing: Jest, Supertest, React Testing Library
• API documentation: Swagger/OpenAPI
• English B2+

Nice to have:

• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
• Vector databases (Qdrant, pgvector), embedding/RAG pipelines
• Docker
• AWS/GCP/Azure
