Full Stack Engineer
Blocksport is a white-label digital experience platform for sports clubs. We rebrand one core platform for each client. The product covers ticketing, payments, content, predictions, chat, wallet, streaming, SSO and sports data integrations. The R&D team is small, so every engineer has a visible impact on the product.
The role
You’ll be the first engineer after the CTO to own backend and CDP. The goal is for the CTO to hand you whole areas of the product, not individual tickets.
What you’ll do
— Build features end to end in our modular monolith (Node.js/Express) and related NestJS services.
— Build APIs and admin tooling: the NestJS CDP backend and its React SPA.
— Work on integrations for payments, ticketing, sports data and social media. Services communicate through events on AWS SNS/SQS.
— Design PostgreSQL schemas in a multi-tenant system where several services share one database.
— Review code from two React Native developers who are moving into full-stack work.
— Own production: deploys through Kubernetes/ArgoCD, monitoring in New Relic, incident response.
What we’re looking for
— Solid production experience with Node.js.
— Strong TypeScript and NestJS, plus the ability to get productive quickly in legacy plain-JS code.
— Deep PostgreSQL knowledge (indexing, migrations, query plans) and experience with Redis.
— Experience with AWS and event-driven or queue-based architecture.
— React for admin panels, and willingness to work in React Native.
— Advanced, daily use of Claude, especially Claude Code. This means maintaining CLAUDE.md project context, using skills, subagents, hooks and MCP servers, managing context on a large codebase, and reviewing AI-generated code with the same rigor as a human PR.
— You make technical decisions on your own and justify them briefly in writing.

— Anthropic certifications.
— Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Kustomize.
— OAuth2/OIDC; Prisma, TypeORM, Knex.
— Multi-tenant or white-label SaaS.
— A background in sports tech, fintech or Web3.
