Full Stack Engineer
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus — Node.js and TypeScript at the core, with React and AWS in the stack. You’ll help own features end-to-end, communicate directly with the US-based client, and work in a structured Agile team building an AI-powered platform for functional medicine — covering the full patient journey from lab ordering (500+ biomarkers) and AI-driven analysis to personalized treatment protocols. The platform is live in production and actively evolving.
Stack: Node.js, TypeScript, AdonisJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, AWS
Location: Europe or Latin America
Working hours:
Europe-based: 14:00 — 23:00 Kyiv time (7:00 AM — 4:00 PM US ET)
Latin America-based: 9:00 AM — 6:00 PM US ET
Requirements:
3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services (AdonisJS, NestJS, Express, or similar)
PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization, migrations, transactions
Redis — caching, queues, pub/sub
React + TypeScript — hands-on experience
AWS — Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS (or similar services)
Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or GitHub Actions)
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles
Strong Git experience and collaborative development workflows
Experience participating in code reviews
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
English B2+ — regular communication with the US-based client
Nice to Have:
Experience with third-party integrations in regulated domains (Healthcare, FinTech)
Serverless architecture experience
AI/LLM integrations
Real-time video/audio APIs (Daily.co, Twilio, or similar)
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain backend services and APIs (Node.js, TypeScript)
Develop and enhance React-based user interfaces
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to CI/CD improvements
