Unilime is looking for an AI Full-Stack Engineer with 3+ years of commercial web development experience.

We work with Go and React, and our infrastructure runs on GCP. You ship a change to production and then keep it running.

The team is small. A task goes from the UI to the service and on to staging and prod. It doesn't wait to be split across roles.

A commercial background in another stack is also a fit. What matters is getting up to speed in Go and React quickly with AI, and owning the code that gets merged. Here, AI is a way to move faster, not just autocomplete.

On the project, we use Cursor and Claude to read an unfamiliar service, draft a change, and close a task from the UI all the way through deployment. A human reviews the generated code for correctness, security, and production behavior.

What you will do:

  • Backend: Product logic in Go: accounts, business rules, background jobs, and HTTP APIs. We use Postgres.
  • Frontend: The interface in React and TypeScript.
  • Services: Queues, status tracking for long-running tasks, and API contracts. Docker locally and in CI.
  • Cloud: Deployment and basic support on GCP together with DevOps: Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, buckets, GitLab CI. DevOps owns Terraform; you can read it and know what actually lands on staging and prod.
  • Production: Migrations, incidents, and taking care of what users already rely on.

Engineering base:

  • 3+ years of commercial web development experience, including work you shipped to production and then maintained.
  • Hands-on experience with a JavaScript framework. Ours is React with TypeScript.
  • Ready to write Go. Go experience is a plus. PHP, .NET, Node, or another backend language is welcome, as long as you're ready to move to Go and keep the bar high on production code.
  • Solid day-to-day use of Cursor and Claude: writing precise prompts, verifying the output, and never merging code you don't understand. You pay attention to security, service boundaries, and whether a change breaks something that already works.
  • Docker, asynchronous processing, and clear boundaries between services.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher: documentation, working with LLMs, and technical writing.
  • Independent and fast. You ask early, follow through on decisions, and communicate directly with the team and DevOps.

Cloud:

GCP is preferred. AWS or Azure experience is a fit, as long as you're willing to learn our infrastructure with DevOps rather than handing off the deployment and stepping away.
