We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to join our engineering team and work on embedded and connected-device projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer with strong practical experience in electronics and PCB design.

You will work on hardware development from schematics and PCB design to prototypes, testing, and debugging.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, make technical decisions, and solve real-world hardware problems.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in technical discussions, project estimations, and work closely with other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits for embedded devices;
• Create and maintain schematics and PCB designs, primarily using Altium Designer;
• Design and review multi-layer PCBs;
• Select electronic components according to project requirements;
• Work with analog and digital electronics;
• Work with microcontrollers and common hardware interfaces;
• Develop and test hardware prototypes;
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting;
• Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters;
• Analyze hardware issues and find their root causes;
• Prepare and maintain basic hardware documentation, including BOM and manufacturing documentation;
• Participate in technical discussions and hardware design decisions;
• Work closely with Embedded Software / Firmware engineers;
• Contribute to improving hardware development processes;
• Share knowledge and experience with other engineers.

What We Expect

• 3+ years of professional experience in Hardware / Electronics Engineering;
• Good understanding of analog and digital electronics;
• Practical experience designing electronic circuits;
• Experience with Altium Designer or a similar PCB design tool;
• Experience designing multi-layer PCBs;
• Experience working with microcontrollers and embedded hardware;
• Understanding of common interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB;
• Practical experience with hardware testing and debugging;
• Ability to read schematics and electronic component datasheets;
• Experience using basic laboratory equipment such as an oscilloscope and multimeter;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work.

You don’t need to have experience with every technology listed above. If you have a strong hardware background and are willing to learn, we would still be happy to talk to you.

Nice to Have

• Experience with embedded Linux hardware;
• Knowledge of wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi or BLE;
• Experience with power management and battery-powered devices;
• Experience with EMC/EMI;
• Basic programming skills in C/C++ or Python;
• Experience preparing hardware for production;
• Experience working with Embedded Software / Firmware teams;
• Experience mentoring other engineers.
