Our client is an international technology company operating in the field of advanced defence technologies and technical solutions. The company delivers and supports complex equipment in Ukraine and works closely with international manufacturers, customers, and technical partners.
We are looking for a Service Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, integration, technical support, diagnostics, and repair of equipment delivered to Ukraine. The role combines hands-on work with technical systems, interaction with customers and suppliers, participation in testing and trials, and delivery of technical and operator training.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and integration of equipment on vehicles, including software and firmware updates.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution.
- Receiving equipment for repair, assessing faults, and determining the most appropriate repair route — in-house, through the manufacturer, or via a subcontractor.
- Coordinating the repair/RMA process, including registration, packaging, and shipment or handover of equipment and components to subcontractors.
- Communicating with customers, manufacturers, and subcontractors on technical, repair, and maintenance matters.
- Participating in equipment testing, trials, and functional checks, including providing technical support to end users.
- Delivering technical and operator training in cooperation with international teams.
- Documenting technical faults, repairs, maintenance activities, and test results.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience working with technical equipment in technical service, maintenance, installation, repair, or field support roles.
- Practical experience in one or more of the following areas: electronics, networking, mechanics, servo systems, or engineering support.
- Experience diagnosing technical systems, troubleshooting, and identifying root causes of failures.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
- Technical education, preferably in engineering or a related field.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel on business trips.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Defence Tech, automotive, aerospace, aviation, or another complex technical environment.
- Experience with vehicle-integrated systems or equipment installed on vehicles.
- Experience with RMA and repair processes.
- Experience working with OEMs/manufacturers and international technical teams.
- Experience delivering technical or operator training.
