iOS Engineer

About the project:
The product is an application which allows to use of proprietary device functionality on iOS. App development requires skills and experience in local and remote networking, USB, Bluetooth and other communication protocols as well as UI components. Primarily languages for the product are written using Swift and ObjC.
Requirements:
— 3+ years of commercial experience as iOS Software engineer
— Knowledge of Git
— Understanding and practical knowledge in OOP
— Proficiency using Xcode
— Practical usage of MVC, MVVM and other architectural patterns
— Knowledge in UIKit and/or SwiftUI
— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Would be a plus:
— Experience using VSCode
— Experience in macOS/Catalyst development
— Experience in writing UnitTests
Responsibilities:
— Design and develop a modern iOS/Catalyst application
— Use best practices to minimize impacts to user experience, such as battery drain, memory warnings, unresponsive UI, etc.
— Ability to read through third-party developer code, understand flow and function, and make improvements as needed
