iOS Engineer

Project description:

We are building a digital healthcare platform designed to help patients and doctors effectively monitor hair loss, scalp conditions, and treatment progress.

The platform provides a unified and structured ecosystem where patients and healthcare providers collaborate, track visual and clinical changes over time, and improve data-driven clinical decision-making. The focus is on delivering a secure, reliable MVP with image-based tracking and structured medical data.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of working experience;
• Strong experience with Swift and SwiftUI in production iOS apps;
• Experience with camera/photo capture, image handling, and storage;
• Familiarity with Core Data, CloudKit, or other local/cloud storage solutions;
• Knowledge of networking and REST APIs to sync data with a backend;
• Understanding of user authentication, privacy, and security best practices;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher;
• Experience with image processing (e.g., thumbnails, cropping, zoom, comparison) will be a plus;
• Experience with push notifications, reminders, or diary/journal features will be a plus;
• Knowledge of app analytics, performance optimization, and testing frameworks will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the iOS app from MVP to production;
• Implement core features: photo capture, symptom diary, progress summaries, and doctor communication;
• Integrate with backend APIs and storage solutions;
• Ensure app security, privacy, and data integrity;
• Test, debug, and iterate on features based on user feedback.
