We are an IT services company based in San Francisco, CA, USA. We build high-performing engineering and data teams to help our clients meet their business needs and solve operational challenges.
We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer for long-term contract work to join one of our product teams.
You will be testing marketing software solutions that help home services businesses manage customers more efficiently and make it easier for homeowners to leave reviews. The role is primarily focused on testing mobile experiences across iOS and Android devices.
This position requires working hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Kyiv time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing
- Strong experience with manual testing of mobile applications and mobile web
- Experience testing across different devices, screen sizes, browsers, and operating systems
- Strong English communication skills and ability to work with a US-based team
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with API testing using Postman, cURL, or similar tools
- Experience with browser Developer Tools
- Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
- Experience creating test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools in QA workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and good self-management skills
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze requirements and specifications
- Design and maintain test cases and checklists
- Plan and coordinate testing activities
- Perform functional, exploratory, API, mobile, and regression testing
- Test mobile experiences across different devices and platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Investigate bugs using Developer Tools, API tools, and available logs
- Work closely with developers and product team members
- Identify usability issues, edge cases, and product risks
- Recommend improvements to product quality and user experience
