Manual QA Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of a complex software platform.

You will work with a system involving multiple components, integrations, and complex business logic, taking ownership of testing activities from requirements analysis to release validation.

Main Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of complex web applications, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
• Ability to travel abroad when required.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC.
• Ability to independently analyze requirements, design test scenarios, identify risks, and plan testing activities.
• Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, client-server architecture, authentication, cookies, sessions, and web technologies.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing using Postman, including JSON, request/response validation, status codes, and error handling.
• Practical knowledge of browser DevTools, DOM, network requests, browser storage, and cross-browser testing.
• Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and integrity checks.
• Ability to effectively use AI tools in QA activities, with a critical approach to validating AI-generated outputs.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing iOS and/or Android applications, including platform-specific behavior, permissions, connectivity, and device compatibility.
• Familiarity with mobile debugging and logging tools, such as Xcode Console or Android Logcat.
• Basic knowledge or practical experience in API test automation, including scripting, assertions, and automated response validation.
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based UI automation frameworks, such as Playwright or WebdriverIO.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze requirements, identify gaps and ambiguities, and design effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Gain a deep understanding of system architecture, business logic, and dependencies to identify critical areas and potential risks.
• Independently plan and execute testing activities, validate changes, and investigate complex defects.
• Perform web application and REST API testing, including data validation and integration testing.
• Improve test coverage, optimize testing efforts, and maintain clear, structured test documentation.
• Leverage AI tools to support test planning, requirements analysis, test design, and other QA activities while critically validating generated results.
