Necessary skills and qualifications:

• At least 2 years of commercial experience in manual testing for Web and Mobile (iOS/Android) applications
• Good understanding of mobile app testing specifics (iOS/Android guidelines, basic system interruptions, network switches, and permissions)
• Strong ability to write and maintain testing documentation: bug reports, checklists, and test cases
• Solid understanding of client-server architecture, computer networking principles (HTTP, TCP/IP), and experience in REST API testing (e.g., Postman)
• Familiarity with network traffic sniffing or debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Fiddler, ADB, or DevTools)
• Proficiency in using popular QA tools for defect and test case management (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency

Will be a plus:

• Experience in testing IoT ecosystems or mobile applications connected to hardware via Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, or MQTT
• Experience in testing Web-based administrative panels or CMS-based projects (e.g., Drupal)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web platforms and mobile applications, including IoT-connected apps
• Analyze project requirements to create effective test scenarios and contribute to test planning
• Conduct API testing and database verifications to ensure stable client-server communication
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations (demos) for clients to showcase newly developed features
• Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and other QA engineers to ensure high quality of the product
• Maintain and update test documentation to reflect changing project requirements
