Manual QA Engineer

Requirements:

— Experience in testing websites on Magento — must have — please do not apply if you have no experience with Magento

— 3+ years experience in testing e-commerce websites (UI and functional)

— Well versed in Software QA Methodology and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

— Deep understanding of test design techniques

— Result oriented, responsible, disciplined, and able to meet deadlines

— Strong analytical mindset and good communication skills

— Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written

— Experience with Chrome dev tools

— Work with Google analytics, Google search console, Google tag manager

— Knowledge of JIRA

Responsibilities:

— Perform manual testing of new functionalities, patches, extensions, etc.

— Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing

— Communicate with manager and team regarding project scope, test cases, deliverables, schedule and bug submissions

— Create, manage and control test documentation required for all project phases

— Analyse the results and performed detailed reporting for executed activities

— Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

— Monitor and analyse website performance

— SEO optimization

— Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements

It would be a plus if you had:

— Programming background (HTML, PHP, SQL)

— An understanding of industry tools and applications

— Technical education

— Performance Testing

— Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

— Experience with automated testing tools
