Manual QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team!

This is a great opportunity to work on a technically complex, enterprise-level platform with real business impact in the UK insurance and automotive industry. The product is already live and used by real customers — so your work will directly influence quality on a system that matters.

You’ll be fully dedicated to one long-term project, work in a close international team, and communicate with the UK-based client on a daily basis. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work under the hood, participating in technical discussions, troubleshooting complex flows, and going beyond just finding bugs — actually shaping product quality on a deeper level.

Project specifics:
Multi-module insurance and automotive claims management platform focused on claim processing, vehicle data handling, repair workflows, total loss management, and integrations with external providers.
The project involves API testing, integration testing, UI testing, regression testing, UAT support, queue/message validation, and verification of complex business logic across multiple environments.

Required Skills:

• 2 + years of testing experience on real Project (testing as a part of QA courses is not counted).
• English language level: B2 or higher (regular communication with clients)
• Experience communicating directly with English-speaking clients, including participation in meetings, discussions, and clarification of requirements.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Proven experience in writing and executing clear, concise, and comprehensive checklists, test cases, and creating bug reports;
• Proven experience with API testing (Postman/Swagger)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes (Jira, Confluence)
• Familiar with SDLC/STLC
• Proactive approach to work, including taking ownership of tasks, identifying risks, and suggesting improvements.
• Ability to quickly study new information

Nice to have skills:

• Mobile App testing.
• HTML
• JavaScript/JQuery
• Basic SQL query knowledge\experience
• Experience with testing automation tools
• Git/GitLab
