The Opportunity

Join our FinTech/Trading team as a Senior Manual QA Engineer and help ensure the reliability, accuracy, and usability of a high-performance trading platform.

You will test complex financial workflows across native iOS and Android applications, Web interfaces, APIs, and backend integrations. The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify edge cases in systems where correctness, real-time data, and financial accuracy are critical.

Your Role and Impact

• Mobile & Web Testing: Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing across native iOS/Android applications and Web platforms.
• API & Backend Validation: Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI, validate request/response data, error handling, authentication, and client-server interactions.
• Trading & Financial Flows: Validate complex business logic, financial calculations, order lifecycles, balances, positions, transaction states, and real-time data updates.
• UI Validation: Verify implementation against Figma/design specifications, including layout, spacing, typography, responsiveness, and Pixel Perfect requirements.
• Debugging & Investigation: Analyze application logs, browser/network traffic, API responses, and other technical data to identify and isolate defects.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Checklists, and other QA documentation appropriate to the feature and risk level.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects in Jira, providing clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, logs, and technical details.
• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other QA Engineers to refine requirements, identify risks early, and participate in solution discussions.
• Quality Ownership: Proactively identify product risks, edge cases, inconsistencies, and areas where testing processes can be improved.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of hands-on Manual QA experience, including significant experience testing both Mobile and Web applications.
• Strong practical experience testing native iOS and Android applications on real devices and emulators/simulators.
• Strong knowledge of API testing, including Postman collections, environments, authentication, request/response validation, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong knowledge of Browser DevTools, including Network, Console, Storage/Application, and debugging client-server interactions.
• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong exploratory-testing skills and the ability to identify non-obvious edge cases.
• Experience investigating defects using logs, network traffic, API responses, and other available diagnostic information.
• Experience with Firebase tools such as Crashlytics and App Distribution.
• Strong attention to UI details and experience validating interfaces against design specifications.
• Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
• English level B2 or higher.

Highly Valued

• Previous experience with trading platforms, brokerage systems, stock/crypto exchanges, payments, or other FinTech products.
• Experience with network traffic analysis tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or Fiddler.
• Basic SQL skills for backend data validation and data-integrity checks.
• Understanding of WebSocket or other real-time communication mechanisms.
• Experience testing applications under unstable or changing network conditions.
