Manual QA Engineer

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications.
• Experience testing responsive UI on desktop and mobile browsers.
• Experience working in product-oriented teams is preferred.

Theoretical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of software testing theory and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.
• Knowledge of testing types and test design techniques.

Technical Skills:

• Good understanding of client-server architecture.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and response status codes.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Experience working with WebSocket.
• Confident use of Chrome DevTools:
  
  • Network
  • Console
  • Device emulation
  • Local overrides / mocks
  • Request and error analysis
• Experience working with logging and monitoring systems (Kibana/OpenSearch/Grafana or similar).
• Understanding of cookies, local storage, and session storage.
• Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing.
• Experience with BrowserStack or other mobile device farms will be a plus.

Tools:

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Ability to create clear bug reports and maintain test documentation.
• Basic understanding of Git.

Responsibilities:

• Perform:
  
  • Functional testing
  • Regression testing
  • Smoke testing
  • Exploratory testing
  • UI/UX testing of web applications
• Test frontend functionality across desktop and mobile browsers.
• Validate responsive layouts and UI behavior.
• Identify, localize, and document defects.
• Perform re-testing and verify bug fixes.
• Analyze requirements and documentation before development starts.
• Collaborate closely with frontend/backend developers, designers, and product managers.
• Create, maintain, and update testing documentation.
• Participate in refinement, planning, demo, and retrospective meetings.
• Investigate and help localize production issues.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing high-load or real-time systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript for frontend behavior analysis and DevTools usage.
• Experience using AI tools/LLMs in testing activities.
• Experience with Charles, Fiddler, or other proxy/debugging tools.
• Basic understanding of test automation principles.
• Experience testing integrations with third-party providers.
