Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities
 

• Test frontend features and user flows, including registration, login, lobby navigation, game launch, cashier and player profile.
• Validate interfaces against Figma designs, checking responsive layouts, navigation, forms, popups and component states.
• Cover positive and negative scenarios, including loading failures, page refreshes, interrupted connections and expired sessions.
• Test across desktop and mobile browsers, including real iOS and Android devices.
• Create and maintain test cases and checklists based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Report bugs in Jira with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, environment details and relevant screenshots, recordings or logs.
• Verify fixes and perform smoke and regression testing together with the current QA engineer.
• Communicate testing results, blockers and unclear requirements to QA, developers, designers and the Product Manager.

Requirements
 

• 1+ year of commercial experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Understanding of QA fundamentals, the defect lifecycle and functional, smoke, regression and exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with test design techniques, including equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
• Practical experience testing responsive interfaces across desktop and mobile browsers, particularly Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android.
• Ability to use Figma to compare implemented interfaces with designs and identify visual or interaction issues.
• Hands-on experience with browser DevTools: inspecting elements, checking console errors and examining network requests and responses.
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP methods and status codes, cookies, sessions and browser storage.
• Basic API testing skills with Postman or a similar tool: sending requests and checking status codes and JSON responses.
• Experience writing test cases, checklists and clear bug reports using Jira or a similar issue tracker.
• Ability to organize assigned tasks, clarify requirements and communicate blockers early.
• Intermediate English (B1+) for reading technical documentation and written communication.
