Manual QA Engineer

Working schedule: 12.30 — 21.00 (Kyiv)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• English: Upper-Intermediate.
• Proven experience in manual QA testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, and regression testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyse requirements and create comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Would be a plus: Experience with test automation using JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of QA for assigned applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Review and analyse business and technical requirements for completeness and testability.
• Create and maintain test cases and test plans.
• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Record, review, prioritise, and track defects, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to understand objectives, define testing requirements, and identify potential issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, weekly status meetings, and defect review sessions.
• Report testing progress, status, and quality metrics to the PM and QA Manager.
