Manual QA Engineer

Description

The project team is part of a commercial software delivery organization focused on building and maintaining customer-facing applications. The department works in an agile environment, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. The team is expanding and is looking for an expirience Senior Manual QA to join the project.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in testing enterprise WEB applications.
• Good problem solving skills with an attitude for learning.
• Good interpersonal, speaking and written communication skills.
• Organized and self-directing with the ability to identify priorities and achieve results.
• Participant in enterprise software development cycles.
• Ability to work in small teams and complete tasks independently when needed.
• Hands-on role in testing efforts, maintaining, and executing test scripts, database validation, testing, software and web testing.
• Prior work experience with unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, UAT, engineering support.
• Ability to interpret results, identify trends and communicate appropriately
• Strong understanding of AI and Generative AI technologies, including LLM-based applications.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate

Job responsibilities

• Test current products and identifying issues.
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
• Oversee continuous improvement projects.
• Interact with the customer regarding ongoing activities.
• Create/track/retest software defects in designated defect tracking tool.
• Create/review/update new/existing test suite.
• Leveraging AI tools to boost manual testing efficiency, optimize QA workflows, and validate AI-enabled products and features.
