Our client is a travel studio specialising in personalised itineraries and end-to-end customer service, delivering tailored travel experiences to a global client base.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to take ownership of the quality assurance process across multiple web applications. This role goes beyond executing test cases—you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and driving the overall testing process while working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, is highly self-managed, and has the confidence to proactively follow up with team members, clarify requirements, and ensure issues are resolved. The ideal candidate has a “mini project manager” mindset when it comes to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of multiple web applications.
• Validate functionality, usability, and overall product quality across interconnected systems.
• Test integrations between applications and verify data consistency throughout the platform.
• Design, write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test suites.
• Take ownership of the testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, regression testing, defect tracking, and release verification.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected system behavior.
• Proactively follow up with stakeholders and team members to obtain missing information, verify fixes, and ensure testing activities remain on schedule.
• Continuously improve QA processes, documentation, and testing methodologies.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer testing web applications.
• Experience testing multiple web-based applications simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of integration testing and validating consistency between interconnected systems.
• Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test suites, and test documentation from scratch.
• Ability to independently organize, prioritize, and manage the entire manual testing process.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to proactively engage with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Good command of English language (B2+).
• Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• A proactive personality with strong ownership, persistence, and the ability to drive testing activities to completion.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
