Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join a fintech product team developing a web-based application.

You will work alongside an experienced engineering team and another QA Engineer, taking an active role in ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of the web application, including user-facing and administrative functionality.
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Test new features, business logic, user flows, and different edge cases.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects throughout their lifecycle.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation.
• Review requirements and clarify expected product behavior with the team when needed.
• Work closely with developers, another QA Engineer, DevOps, and the CTO throughout the development process.
• Participate in improving testing approaches, QA processes, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with bug investigation, reproduction, documentation, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
• High level of proactivity, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with fintech, payments, financial platforms, or other transaction-heavy products.
• Experience using AI tools as part of the QA process.
• Basic knowledge of or hands-on experience with test automation.
