We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join Group107 for a WordPress department. The main focus of this role is design-oriented QA — verifying that developed websites and digital products accurately reflect approved designs, are pixel-perfect, responsive, and visually consistent across all devices. The role starts with WordPress projects and expands over time to cover broader web QA tasks.
Responsibilities
- Compare developed pages against approved Figma/design files and report visual discrepancies (spacing, alignment, typography, colors, icons, images) clearly and accurately;
- Test WordPress pages after development — checking Gutenberg/custom blocks from both the user side and admin side, verifying menus, headers, footers, forms, buttons, and page sections;
- Test responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile; flag layout breaks and inconsistencies;
- Perform pre-delivery checks before client review, ensuring the final result matches the approved design;
- Write structured, clear bug reports and communicate findings to developers and designers;
- Over time, support additional manual QA tasks — functional testing, cross-browser testing, regression testing after bug fixes, and checklist-based acceptance verification.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a sharp visual eye for noticing small design differences;
- Good knowledge of responsive web layouts and ability to identify inconsistencies across breakpoints;
- Ability to compare developed pages against Figma/design files and document mismatches precisely;
- Basic understanding of WordPress and willingness to learn quickly;
- Ability to write clear, structured bug reports understandable by both developers and designers;
- Upper-intermediate+ level of English;
- Highly detail-oriented, patient, and organized in day-to-day work;
- Team player with clear communication skills when working with developers, designers, and project managers;
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tools and QA practices quickly.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with WordPress (admin panel, page editing);
- Experience working with Figma (reviewing designs, using inspect mode);
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding — enough to identify layout and styling root causes;
- Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar task management tools;
- Familiarity with Gutenberg blocks;
- Basic accessibility awareness;
- Experience testing multilingual websites.
What We Offer
- 20 vacation days (workdays);
- 7 sick days;
- Personalized career growth;
- Internal English classes;
- Education reimbursement;
- Corporate events and team buildings;
- Equipment provided.
