Network Engineer
About the role
FlashProxy runs proxy/IP infrastructure at scale. We're hiring one engineer to own the health of that infrastructure day-to-day — watching it, keeping it up, and growing the network side (routing, BGP, IP space).
What you'll do
- Continuously monitor production infrastructure; triage and respond to alerts
- Keep servers healthy — Linux fleet, capacity, updates, troubleshooting
- Manage and grow the network: configure and maintain BGP sessions, routing, prefix/IP management, peering
- Own incident response and participate in on-call
- Improve observability (monitoring/alerting) and automate repetitive ops
Must have
- Solid Linux administration
- Real networking depth: BGP, routing, TCP/IP, DNS
- Monitoring/alerting stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, Zabbix, or similar)
- Scripting (Bash/Python) for automation
- Comfortable owning production and being on-call
- English B2+
Nice to have
- ISP / hosting / CDN / proxy background, Anycast, DDoS mitigation
- Infrastructure-as-code / config management (Ansible/Terraform), cloud (AWS/GCP) alongside bare metal
