Network Engineer

An opportunity for a Network Engineer - External OPM Devices and Lab with an Israeli cybersecurity company.

Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, architectures, and protocols.
• Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Experience in network troubleshooting, investigation, and traffic analysis.
• Practical experience with network labs and equipment.
• Ability to validate device behaviour and reproduce real-world network scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English.

Nice to Have

• Scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with network configuration and testing automation.

• Familiarity with APIs and network management tools.
   

  Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and support lab environments for external OPM devices.
• Configure and manage network equipment.
• Prepare lab scenarios for new device integrations, features, and customer escalations.
• Reproduce customer issues and validate device, protocol, and integration behaviour.
• Troubleshoot network configuration, connectivity, and device-related issues.
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and configurations to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, and Product teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
