About the role:
We're hiring on behalf of a client in the semiconductor / high-tech space who needs a hands-on engineer to strengthen their Post-Silicon Validation efforts. You'll be building and running Python-based test automation, tracking down complex issues across the hardware-software boundary, and working directly with lab equipment on real ASIC hardware — all in a remote setup, so strong independent debugging skills are essential.
What you'll bring:
- Solid track record building test frameworks and test cases in Python
- Hands-on Post-Silicon Validation experience with ASICs
- Practical test automation background (Pytest or comparable frameworks)
- Comfort debugging tricky issues that span both hardware and software layers
- Direct experience working with National Instruments PXI hardware
- A knack for turning open technical questions into concrete, measurable tests
- Track record integrating lab/measurement instruments into existing test setups
Bonus points:
- Background in hardware-adjacent software development
- Building data logging, analysis, or visualization tools in Python
- Experience evolving test architecture/infrastructure over time
- Broader exposure to measurement and validation environments

Interview process:
