QA Engineer

The customer is an Israeli multinational pharmaceutical company.
The Enterprise program is a significant transformation initiative for the customer. It involves implementing consistent, industry-standard business processes supported by integrated systems (SAP-based enterprise solutions) across company sites worldwide. This large-scale, global program is implementing in over 60 countries and 70 plants.

We are seeking are QA engineers covering manual and automation testing for the Ask-X products. Comfortable testing both deterministic software and probabilistic AI outputs (prompt regression, quality checks, evaluation suites).
Primary purpose and function of this position:
- Discuss Business Requirements with product, AI engineers, and developers; translate them into test plans and acceptance criteria
- Own the test strategy for frontend, backend, and AI product surfaces
- Regression and exploratory testing across releases
- AI-specific testing: prompt regression, output quality checks, evaluation harnesses, hallucination/safety checks in partnership with the AI engineer
- Defect triage and root-cause investigation; clear, reproducible bug reports
- Release sign-off and post-release monitoring
- Documentation of test strategy, READMEs, and test reports
- Work individually with minimal supervision as well as in team environments
- Optional: Build and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years in software QA
Technical Skills
- Test design: test cases, traceability matrices, risk-based testing
- Automation frameworks: Playwright or equivalent
- API testing: Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
- SQL for data validation and backend test setup
- Git repo usage and commands
- Performance and load testing fundamentals
- Understanding of Agile development best practices and shift-left testing
- Experience testing LLM-based products (eval frameworks, prompt regression, output graders)
